I just re-read my most recent entry, which is actually pretty old.
Just a quick update.
Thanks to the wonder that it craigslist, I have finally made a pretty good friend here. Someone to get my nails done with or grab a drink, and conveniently, her husband and Chris get along well. We all like going to the same pub and have a good time hanging out.
I'm looking for a new job, hoping and praying that I find one. After many medical tests, the doctors concluded that stress and depression are to blame for my 45-lb weight gain, and they told me (after talking with five doctors and a shrink) that getting a new job would be muoy beneficial. I'm looking.
Also, I did do that Relay for Life and met a nice girl, but we rarely hang out. Maybe in the future though.
I'm going to start walking with a CL girl, too, so maybe we can hang out as well.
Sometimes you just gotta put yourself out there and hope for the best.
Wish me luck on the job hunt.
